Sorry for not posting for so long, but to be honest we don't have all that much exciting going on. Except for this past week!! Jeff and I celebrated our one year anniversary on July 21st and it was absolutely wonderful!! We decided to go to California because for one we wanted a summer break from work and second because we wanted to go somewhere for our anniversary, so we decided to splurge. We left July 16 and stayed till the night of July 22nd. Jeff and I were lucky to be able to get so much done in California. And because we did so much I'll list date by date what we did.....

Wednesday July 16th: My mom picked us up in Long Beach at 6pm. We were fed dinner when we arrived home and then we were invited to Dad's presentation on Kanjen water (or miracle water) which was actually quite entertaining and interesting. Lets just say it convinced Steven to never drink soda again..haha..lets see how long that last....

Thursday July 17th: My dad, mom, Stephanie, Jeff and I all went to Downtown LA to go shopping for my birthday and for random stuff and I mean random. For example dad bought an Angel's rug for the house? Why I don't know!? But I was really lucky and I finally found somewhere to shop in Downtown LA. My mom, Kristina and I always go to get really good deals and we end up staying for hours not finding anything, but I found a place off of Los Angeles and 12th street. I bought really cute shirts for only $6!! I was so excited!! So was Stephanie!! We were on a tight schedule because Steven had a school basketball game in Garden Grove. It's so weird watching him play for Savanna High School, but it was still fun to watch and cheer for him. He played really good on defense. That night we went to go see the new Batman movie at midnight with Cade and Steven. We were both really tired but once that movie started it could keep anybody awake, if you haven't seen it yet I highly recommended it!! :)

Friday July 18th: After almost a year later Jeff and I finally ordered pictures from Reinbold from our Wedding!! I am really excited and happy thats finally done the only bummer part about it is we have to wait till Christmas to get them because they won't ship the album. That afternoon we finally went to Huntington Beach as a family, well except dad and stayed until about 7 for a ward beach party, but we left early because we wanted to go to the Angel's game and see fireworks. The waves at the beach were huge. I haven't been to the beach in a long time, but I haven't seen them that big!! It was scary!! But the night ended well with the Angel's winning and a great firework show.
Saturday July 19th: It was my mom's birthday and she wanted to go to the Newport Beach Temple which was nice, because it was the same day I got my endowment's out a year ago and the same for my mom, but 30 years ago. It was a beautiful session. There was an Angel's game that afternoon so of course we went and of course the Angel's WON!! :) I took my mom to get a pedicure for her birthday while the boy's cooked dinner and Stephanie baked a cake.
I know I am writing a lot, but I promise I am almost done!!!!...

Monday July 21st: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! We decided to go to Disneyland right when it opened so we could go on the new Submarine ride and not have to wait three hours, but we still had to wait an hour. This ride is a definite one time only try!! If you are claustrophobic and are bigger than a little girl I wouldn't recommend it. It's a 20 min ride in the submarine in a tight space thats really uncomfortable. Once that was over we went to the new Toy Story Mania ride at California Adventures. It's just like the Buzz Lightyear ride, where you shot targets but the new ride is 3D so it looks like things are shooting back at you and puffs of air shoots at you. We ended up staying at Disneyland for 9 hours, left at 5pm and went to the Angel's game that night!! They lost but Jeff and I still had a wonderful anniversary!!

Tuesday July 22nd: We went to Downtown Disney for the last time and got matching shirts!! We decided to make it a tradition to get a matching shirt of a place we were on our anniversary. On our honeymoon we got matching Coronado shirts and now we have matching Disneyland shirts and eventually we are going to save these shirts and make a quilt. :) And then the sad moment came and we boarded the plane.

And now the moment you have been waiting for..... PICTURES!!
