College Friends

Because this is my senior year in college, all of my friends wanted to take pictures. One of my friends, Polly, is graduating in December and moving to Oregon with her husband AJ for a company called Deloitte, so we decided to take the pictures last week. Over the last year, Polly has been one of my best friends. I met her spring semester and she has been there for me ever since. We would study together and Jeff and I would sometimes hang out with Polly and her husband AJ over the weekend playing games and having dinner nights. Polly is amazing and was sweet enough to take me to the hospital when I found out the morning of I was going to have surgery. She stayed with me till Jeff arrived and I was blessed to have her with me. Natalie and Courtney have also been amazing friends and I am so happy I have had them to talk to when I needed them. I am going to miss them when I graduate. Polly and I

Families Are Forever

Families Are Forever
Over the summer, Jeff and I found out we had pictures from our wedding we never received. So this weekend we finally framed them and put them up. These are the $3 frames I bought from Walmart on Black Friday. It looks really nice and I added a Families Are Forever sign I made in Relief Society, which was a nice touch. I love my family and love being a part of Jeff’s family.

Here is the final product……

Christmas Craft!

Yesterday I made a Christmas craft with a friend in the ward, who I happen to visit teach. So last night, we watched Elf while making Christmas crafts.
I made three different Christmas trees by painting them, and decorating them with different papers, cute ribbons, wires, and stars.

Here is the final product.....What do you think?

Our First Real Christmas Tree!

Jeff and I decided to get a Christmas Tree this year even though we will only be able to enjoy it for two weeks. We rearranged our apartment so we would have a perfect place for it. I thought getting a small tree would be lame, but after putting it on a little table I thought it turned out quite nicely. I was going to pick colorful lights, but I just love how white lights look on Christmas Trees. We also were going to buy ornaments, but none of them had hooks, which was odd. So my first assumptions was they are now making customers buy them separately, but I still couldn’t find the hooks, so Jeff and I gave up and decided to just stick with the lights. I love the smell and now our apartment looks, feels, and smells like Christmas. I am so excited to go to California and spend Christmas with my family this year.

Date Night!

How I love date nights! Jeff and I had a date night on Friday and we had a lot of fun. After a long day at school and work we took the TRAX downtown and saw the Temple Square Christmas Lights. The lights were so pretty and Jeff and I felt like Buddy the Elf running around looking for the biggest Christmas tree with the brightest lights. Jeff showed me the paper lanterns of all the different languages and I had to take a picture with the Japanese lantern. ; ) After Temple Square, we took the TRAX to the gateway and ate dinner before going to the Jazz game. Sadly the Jazz lost, but it was still a lot of fun. And the best part of all...... we didn’t have to drive through traffic after the game. We just ran and jumped on the TRAX (literally, we almost missed it) and went home.

Here are some pictures. Enjoy!
