It's been cold this winter but now snow! Today it finally began to snow. Diana and I were studying in the library at BYU. When we came out we saw that it was snowing!

Happy Birthday Jeffrey!!

Jeff had a full week of birthday celebration starting from last Sunday to this Sunday. His actual birthday was November 18th turning the BIG 25 ( a quarter of a century! WOW). We had lots of fun celebrating his birthday with family in SLC before his birthday, opening presents and eating some delicious ice cream cake made by ME! (recipe from Favorite Family Recipes...Thanks Jennie!) The ice cream cake was really good and the name of the cake fit well....Deceptively Easy Ice Cream Cake. :)
On Tuesday, Jeff's actual birthday, friends came over to eat some cake (a cool guitar cake....Thanks Betty Crocker :)...haha) and hang out and although that did happen some Wii Fit competition of soccer, ski jumping and much more happened as well. I have to admit, it was a lot of fun kicking Chris Grants butt in soccer, for those who know who I am talking about can laugh with me. haha It was lots of fun.....Thanks to all who could come!
This past Sunday we also had a Cousins party to celebrate Jeff's birthday thanks to Aunt Caroline and although not many people were able to come, it was still a lot of fun.
Happy Birthday Jeffrey! I love you very much and I hope you had a wonderful week.

I hope you enjoy your new Basketball shoes and Dunder Mifflin Shirt! ( gotta love "The Office!")

For those of you curious on how an engine is put together. I will also post an animation of a working engine.

A couple of weeks ago I invited Meghan Mulroney over for dinner and it happen to land on the same week Paul was coming into town. Knowing Paul was coming I knew right away what to make for dessert....APPLE PIE!!(my mom's famous recipe) So that evening I made a wonderful dinner of Pot Roast with carrots and mash potatoes, which I am sad to say I forgot to take a picture of :( and the delicious apple pie. We all were able to enjoy this delicious meal and dessert of apple pie before Paul came over and it was a good thing, because once Paul saw that Apple Pie I knew it was gone for good!! haha It was a great evening over all and I was really happy to see Paul!!

Before Paul came over.........

After Paul came over......(HAHA)

Good thing Diana didn't meet this guy before she met me! Otherwise I would have never stood a chance at winning her over.

This guy won the air guitar championships in Finland. To watch him in action go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vUsumUmdeY

YEAR OLD CAKE!!

This week was an eventful week. Monday we spent time with Dan and Jillian going shopping at the University Mall. I bought my first pair of snow pants for 50% off!! That was exciting!! Jeff bought a nice green plaid collared shirt and swim shorts, which he desperately needed. We also went to a BYU women's soccer game. Jeff's first day of school was Tuesday and my fourth. So the most eventful part of the week was deciding to start thawing our Wedding Cake. We honestly wanted to do it for kicks but as the week went on every night we would stare at the cake and say to ourselves, "Is it safe?" Well....... on Tuesday night we took our first bites into that cake and WOW!!! It was so good!! The cake was still moist and the frosting like any other frosting was a little too sugary, but man oh' man was it good. Jeff thought it was a little creepy eating a year old cake and also thought it was weird how excited I was about it, but oh well...all I have to say is this cake is AMAZING!! I wish all of you could have tried it. I don't know if it was because of the way it was wrapped or the way I thawed it. All I did was put it in the refrigerator for a couple of days and took it out maybe 20 mins before cutting it. I even had a second piece Wednesday night, but this time I didn't take it out 20 mins before cutting it and it taste even better because the frosting was thicker. Anyways here are some beautiful pictures of myself as well as the cake!! ENJOY!! Imagine taking a bite!!!

Jeff and I have officially moved back to Provo! I am excited about the fact I only have to ride one bus to get to work and school!! :) Poor Jeff still has to drive to work in SLC for the next couple of days, but he can toughen it out!! :( I cleaned and unpacked most of the day today and now because Jeff and I moved back I can now start contributing to the "What's for dinner" blog which by the way has helped me out a lot already! I am usually not very good at planning ahead when it comes to dinners so I am really glad to have this blog because it motivates me! (Thanks Jennie and Paula!) :)

Sorry for not posting for so long, but to be honest we don't have all that much exciting going on. Except for this past week!! Jeff and I celebrated our one year anniversary on July 21st and it was absolutely wonderful!! We decided to go to California because for one we wanted a summer break from work and second because we wanted to go somewhere for our anniversary, so we decided to splurge. We left July 16 and stayed till the night of July 22nd. Jeff and I were lucky to be able to get so much done in California. And because we did so much I'll list date by date what we did.....

Wednesday July 16th: My mom picked us up in Long Beach at 6pm. We were fed dinner when we arrived home and then we were invited to Dad's presentation on Kanjen water (or miracle water) which was actually quite entertaining and interesting. Lets just say it convinced Steven to never drink soda again..haha..lets see how long that last....

Thursday July 17th: My dad, mom, Stephanie, Jeff and I all went to Downtown LA to go shopping for my birthday and for random stuff and I mean random. For example dad bought an Angel's rug for the house? Why I don't know!? But I was really lucky and I finally found somewhere to shop in Downtown LA. My mom, Kristina and I always go to get really good deals and we end up staying for hours not finding anything, but I found a place off of Los Angeles and 12th street. I bought really cute shirts for only $6!! I was so excited!! So was Stephanie!! We were on a tight schedule because Steven had a school basketball game in Garden Grove. It's so weird watching him play for Savanna High School, but it was still fun to watch and cheer for him. He played really good on defense. That night we went to go see the new Batman movie at midnight with Cade and Steven. We were both really tired but once that movie started it could keep anybody awake, if you haven't seen it yet I highly recommended it!! :)

Friday July 18th: After almost a year later Jeff and I finally ordered pictures from Reinbold from our Wedding!! I am really excited and happy thats finally done the only bummer part about it is we have to wait till Christmas to get them because they won't ship the album. That afternoon we finally went to Huntington Beach as a family, well except dad and stayed until about 7 for a ward beach party, but we left early because we wanted to go to the Angel's game and see fireworks. The waves at the beach were huge. I haven't been to the beach in a long time, but I haven't seen them that big!! It was scary!! But the night ended well with the Angel's winning and a great firework show.
Saturday July 19th: It was my mom's birthday and she wanted to go to the Newport Beach Temple which was nice, because it was the same day I got my endowment's out a year ago and the same for my mom, but 30 years ago. It was a beautiful session. There was an Angel's game that afternoon so of course we went and of course the Angel's WON!! :) I took my mom to get a pedicure for her birthday while the boy's cooked dinner and Stephanie baked a cake.
I know I am writing a lot, but I promise I am almost done!!!!...

Monday July 21st: ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! We decided to go to Disneyland right when it opened so we could go on the new Submarine ride and not have to wait three hours, but we still had to wait an hour. This ride is a definite one time only try!! If you are claustrophobic and are bigger than a little girl I wouldn't recommend it. It's a 20 min ride in the submarine in a tight space thats really uncomfortable. Once that was over we went to the new Toy Story Mania ride at California Adventures. It's just like the Buzz Lightyear ride, where you shot targets but the new ride is 3D so it looks like things are shooting back at you and puffs of air shoots at you. We ended up staying at Disneyland for 9 hours, left at 5pm and went to the Angel's game that night!! They lost but Jeff and I still had a wonderful anniversary!!

Tuesday July 22nd: We went to Downtown Disney for the last time and got matching shirts!! We decided to make it a tradition to get a matching shirt of a place we were on our anniversary. On our honeymoon we got matching Coronado shirts and now we have matching Disneyland shirts and eventually we are going to save these shirts and make a quilt. :) And then the sad moment came and we boarded the plane.

And now the moment you have been waiting for..... PICTURES!!

Yesterday was an exciting day as we celebrated the marriage of Tiffany Harris who is now known as Tiffany Johnson. It was a beautiful ceremony in the Salt Lake Temple. The weather was a little chilly, but the sun soon came out late afternoon as we set up for the outdoor reception at the Osbourns, Tiffany's best friends house. This house was amazingly huge!! The backyard was perfect with two bridges and a stream running underneath. The tables and white chairs were set up beautifully with green and pink flowers. It was a fun afternoon/night setting up, taking pictures and of course the clean up. The nice thing about the clean up though was not having to take down the tables and chairs and only having to load up the car with the extra food, trays and coolers. Jeff and I had a blast taking pictures with each other and Jeff had fun taking pictures of ME!! haha We had a fun evening with each other we only wished we could have danced! :(

The TRAX

This morning I woke up really early with Jeff (6:15, for those who know me this is really really early!! - i love my sleep). Anyways, we woke up early for one because Jeff had to be at work at 6:45 and second beacuse I had to be at work at 9. HAHA Now I know what you are thinking..."9! MAN does it take Diana that long to get ready!" No, it takes me that long to get to work. I leave the wonderful house of the Harris' in SLC at 7 in the morning arriving at my first bus stop at 7:15 leaving at 7:19 taking the 39 to the TRAX. If any of you have not taken the TRAX I highly recommed it. It was a wonderful thrilling ride for me, it reminded me of the monorail at Disneyland, according to Disneyland a "Quiet way to whisk your way from Downtown Disney District to the Tomorrowland lagoon..." So in my scenrio it is a "Quiet way to whisk through Utah from SLC to Sandy Center Civic." :) It takes me 30 mins to get to Sandy but wait there is more.....From Sandy I take either the express bus 817 or811. If I am lucky and I really mean lucky, like I wasn't this morning because I am the worst with direction, I get to make the 817 at 7:59. If I take the 817 I arrive at UVSC (UVU) at 8:34, but if you are Diana Aiko Harris and get off the wrong stop at the wrong time you get to waste another 10 mins and wait for another TRAX to arrive to take you to Sandy Center Civic and beacause you are late you get to take the 811. Now the 811 arrives in Sandy at 8:14 but guess what, it doesn't arrive at UVSC till 9!! Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, Diana has finally arrived!! To be honest though, it really isn't that bad. Like I said, it is a fast, peaceful, wonderful ride that reminds me of the monorail and the express bus has comfortable seats. Thank you for listening to me while I was on my soap box. I hope all of you have a wonderful day while I am leaving right now to go home which takes me another 2 hours. Love you!!- Diana

Here is a picture of Diana and I at the Morgan golf course.

This past weekend Diana and I went camping in Morgan. For those of you who don't know, Morgan is located near Ogden, just up the canyon. It's a beautiful place. We went camping with our friends Dan and Jillian, and some of Dan's extended family. We camped right next to a river and near a golf course. After sleeping in late we hit the links. It was Diana's first time ever golfing! She did pretty well and actually had a few really nice chips and putts. I had several nice drives and fairway hits, but my short game struggled...of course I'm not very good at golf either. We also enjoyed playing a game we call "Toggle Toss." Basically it's a game where you have two golf balls connected with a 6 inch rope. You toss the golf ball thingy at a PVC ladder and try to wrap the golf ball around the different rungs. Different rungs are worth different values. I'm sure it sounds confusing, but it's fun. After a couple nights of camping we returned home. Sorry I don't have any pictures yet, but they will come soon.

This Thursday we are moving up to SLC. I'm starting my internship with Boeing on Friday. I will be working with an engineering design team on the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. It should be cool!

Diana and I made a blog so we can let you know what is going on in our lives!
