Happy Thanksgiving!

Lately I have been on a roll in writing on my blog so I decided to keep them coming. I wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!

Jeff and I had a wonderful weekend. We spent Thanksgiving with Jeff's family and had a wonderful dinner all directed by Jan. We had a great time talking with everyone and I had a blast playing with my nephews and nieces.

On Black Friday, Jeff and I surprisingly went shopping. In Utah, Walmart opened at midnight, Kohl's opened at 3am, Target opened at 4am, and Kmart opened at 5am. So Jeff and I decided to wake up at 5:30 am and see what was left. On our way to Kohl's we stopped at Kmart to see if there was a Wii game (NBA JAM) still available and surprisingly it was. There were only three left and Jeff bought it half off for his birthday. Once we hit Kohl's I was expecting the lines to wrap around like it did in California a couple years ago, but it was just a normal line. Jeff and I got a king size down blanket for $25 normally $120, a matching dinning set for 8 people for $60 normally $100 (that wasn't as good of a deal but we needed a dinning set), and a nice wool pea-coat for $50 normally $170. After that I went to Walmart and bought some DVD's on sell for $2, $5, and $9, and 8x10 picture frames for $3 for our wedding pictures to finally hang up. Most of the movies was picked through, but I still bought some good movies and the best part was there was nobody in line. On a normal day at Walmart I am usually stuck in line. Jeff and I went at the best time. At Kohl's a lady behind us was saying she came at 3am and the line was wrapped all the way around the store so she came back at 4am to shop and again at 6am.

On Saturday, Jeff and I went to the Utah vs BYU football game. To be honest, I enjoy watching some football, but I don't get all upset who wins or loses unless I am playing in the game or I am watching a family member playing in the game. So I think I was more upset at the fact I couldn't feel my toes than BYU losing. I have to admit, it was sad, but I think I would have felt the same way even if BYU won...I would be happy, but sad at the same time. Who know's maybe I would have been jumping up and down if BYU won. It is so conflicting.

Anyways.....HAPPY THANKSGIVING! I am grateful for all of you!
