Stephanie and I went to the Cowabunga Bay Water Park yesterday morning from 10am till 2pm. All I have to say is 4 hours was definitely enough time for the both of us, but then again anybody older than 12 or 13 probably would have been fine after 2 hours. Let me explain.....although I had a blast with Stephanie I probably will never go back unless I had a 6 or 7 year old kid. They only had 5 slides a couple mini slides, a lazy river (Stephanie calls crazy river, especially by the afternoon), and a pool which ranges from 0 ft to 3 ft (not joking). When they advertise for this park online they should say in bold....THIS PARK IS NOT MEANT FOR PEOPLE OVER 12 YEARS OF AGE, UNLESS YOU HAVE CHILDREN THAT AGE OR YOUNGER. It was definitely a one time thing and even Stephanie agreed with me and I quote from Stephanie, "This park is worth $5." Even though I think the park is not that expensive and this includes the food, lockers, parking (free) and pass to get in, it is just way to small (I could walk across the park and back in less than 5 min.) and by the afternoon it can get pretty crowded. Stephanie and I arrived around 9:56 in the morning when the park opened at 10 and we both thought we were going to have to wait in this long line to get in, but no...we were the first ones to get in. My point is....you probably shouldn't go... let alone pay if all you're going to do is go on the slides two or three times (shivering from the wind and being scared to death as it rocks back and forth waiting to go down the slide) then lay in a 3 ft deep (I don't even know if I should even put the word deep) pool for the rest of the time and get sun burned, well I got tanned, but poor Stephanie is red as can be.
