Trip to California

Jeff and I have been wanting to take a trip somewhere for a long time so we decided we wanted to drive down to California, but then found out we had problems with our car so that idea was a bust. But then we remembered Jeff's parents,(Don and Jan) and Amy were planning to visit Michael, Jack, and Becca in San Diego so we convinced Jeff's parents to drive a couple days earlier so we could tag along and go to Disney California Adventures and an Angel's game. So we left last Friday early in the morning and arrived in California just in time to make the Angel's baseball game and watch the firework show, Big Bang Friday. Then most of the day Saturday we went to Disney California Adventures, thanks to Bruce and relaxed the rest of that evening. On Sunday after church Don, Jan and Amy left to San Diego as planned and Jeff and I stayed with my family in Anaheim. We weren't quite sure what we were going to do Monday and Tuesday that wouldn't cost so most so we decided to go to Knott's Berry Farm on Monday and the beach Tuesday morning before our flight back to SLC. Knott's was still a little pricey so Jeff went online for work and found out he could get Knott's tickets for 50% off so we decided to go for it. But lucky for us and thanks again to Bruce he had two free tickets to Knotts and we were able to go with Steven and Kristopher, Bruce's son. It was a lot of fun including the 11-32oz sodas Steven drank, lets just say he had a hyper night. Later on that evening Jeff and I went to another Angel's game, which sad to say they lost, but it was still an amazing game. The funny part was Jeff was complaining at Friday nights game how he has never seen an Angel hit a homerun. Not only did the Angels hit 3 homeruns on Friday night, they hit 3 homeruns in a row on Monday night. How they lost I don't know, well actually I do, stupid Fuentes let 4 points come in during the 9th inning. Tuesday morning we left as early as we could and went to beach for 3 hours. The water was freezing cold but all of us got use to it after awhile. We went boogy boarding and caught amazing waves and I was able to get some California sun! :) Jeff and I went home that night and wished we could have stayed longer. Anways.... we had so much fun and can't wait to go back for Thanksgiving. Thanks mom and dad for letting us stay in your home and Thanks Don and Jan for letting us tag along. And of course Thank you Bruce!! :)

While we were in California Adventures, we all went inside the Animation Academy and they were teaching us how to draw Jack Skeleton from The Nightmare before Christmas. As you can see there are only three pictures because Jeff and Jan didn't want to keep theirs. So sad. It was a lot of fun learning how to draw.

Great pictures. I would never have thought to try on hats and take pictures with them on. That was too funny.

Glad you had fun in the sun in CA.

Miss you guys already. I'll be all alone next week with my mother. How sad is that going to be. Too bad you weren't here with me! mom

No, he didn't. It was $14.00 all you can drink re-fills. Plus you can share with your family members.
If I had been there I would have stopped him.
